The virus signatures are automatically accessed by the DvISE Grabbing Server. Please pay attention to the following: - The service DvISE Grabbing Server must be active.
- You must ensure an automatic internet connection, e.g. per dedicated line or switched line, you have to enter this under »Grabbing Server -> Connection«.
- The ports TCP 80 and UDP 53 must not be blocked, e.g. via Firewall

Ex usage of Service Packs 1, you have the possibility to activate another port, by adjusting the parameter »VirusUpdatePort = xx« in the DVGRAB.INI. - It is not necessary, to adjust a post box underneath of »Grabbing Server -> Data Base -> POP3 Post Boxes«.
- Adjust the interval of connection establishment to the doorkeeper server under »Configuration -> System -> Virus Detection« in the DvISE Administrator respectively the Service Layer.
The interval will be indicated in hours. Zero illustrates the deactivation, 24 illustrates the lowest request on the doorkeeper server. - You must register the doorkeeper licence under Club.Tobit.com, so that you can use the automatic update.
