In order to eliminate the effect, create a new DAVID.FIL to exclude problems from this side. The DAVID.FIL contains the Api- and FileScan Services.Stop the DvISE Service Layer and re-name the DAVID.FIL to e.g. DAVID_FIL.OLD in the directory »DAVID\CODE«. Note, that the FileScan-entries will all be deleted then! - Restart the Service Layer afterwards. You can create a new FileScan service in the Service Layer below »Configuration -> Services -> FileScan Services«. Enter the following path:
\\Servername\David\Apps\Faxware\Out\Api\*. It is very important to enter exactly that path including the final "*." without any extension. Save your entry now. - Change to another menu in the Service Layer then and return afterwards to the »FileScan Services«. Your recent entry will not be visible. It has been created below »Services -> API«.
- Enter a second path:
\\Servername\David\Import\*.fax Spare any other settings as well and save the entry. You can now add any other necessary or wanted FileScan entries. - Restart the DvISE Service Layer in the end.
If this does not solve the problem, you can replace the FaxWare User-. He might not have enough rights to convert all the fax jobs correctly.- First of all, make a backup of your data.
- Stop the DvISE services with »DVSTOP« on the Netware console.
- Next, you delete the FaxWare User- in the NDS on the server.
- Then you have to perform a DSREPAIR (Full) until it does not return any errors.
- Restart the DvISE services now with »DVNDS« on the Netware console.
- A request for a username and a password will open. It also contains the item "USE RIGHTS OF THIS USER" which is usually set on "NO".
- Enter the username of the administrator (including the context) as well as the password.
- Now set the item "USE RIGHTS OF THIS USER" on "YES".
