| In the DvISE Grabbing Server open the menu item »Target Address«, which you can find in the DvISE Administrator at »Grabbing Server -> Data Bases -> POP3 Post Boxes -> "Names Of The Post Boxes"« respectively at Novell NetWare under »Configuration -> Post Boxes -> "Name Of The Post Box"«. eMails, which have been sent to several recipients, all these addresses are stated equal in the recipient address field (To-Field). Through this there can occur problems, because the individual recipient of the actual message cannot be detected that way. So, that after the picking up of eMail through the DvISE Grabbing Server all addresses of the to-field are analised. For that reason an entry will be created for all recipient addresses, which do not exist in the own system in the »Undistributed« Archive . If you want to avoid this, and the analysis of a additional address field is not available, you can define the valid addresses through a corresponding entry in the field destination address. The folowing entries are possible: Only One Target Address The to-field of the fetched eMail is overwritten with this entry. The incoming mail is just stored in the incoming archive, which matches with the entered address. All further addresses of the original to-field will be unconsidered. Example: thomas.tobit@ourcompany.com Several Addresses Divided Through Comma For every address, which is entered here, it will be examined, whether it is included in the to-field of the fetched mail. Only if this applies, an individual entry will be created in the particular incoming archive. Example: tomas.tobit@ourcompany.com, info@ourcompany.com Address Indication With Wildcards For all Addresses of the to-field, which correspond to the entered criterion, individual entries will be created in the particular incoming archive. Addresses, which do not correspond to this criterion, stay unconsidered. As wildcards you can use the symbols * (equals a any symbol chain) and ? (equals any symbol). Also an indication of a combination of several adresses is possible with or without wildcards. Here you have to use a comma as seperator. Example: *@ourcompany.com, works?@ourcompany.com, info@ourcompany.com Indication Of A Direct Target Archive Instead of an address indication, you can also enter the path of a desired destination archive as destination address. Therefore you have to use the real name of the archive. You have to indicate the complete path beginning with the DvISE root directory. Example: DAVID\ARCHIVE\USER\10004000\IN Notice: It is not possible to combine the above mentioned address indications with the indication of a Target archive. |
