The SMS sending via PrePaid SMS Package for DvISE is proceeded by the PostMan, if SMS stay in the mail box with the status "in process", this can have two reasons: - 1. Possibility
First of all you have to make sure, that you can receive the confirmation for the sending of the SMS provider. The confirmation for the sended SMS is just for the Service Layer. If the confirmation cannot be received, the SMS cannot be moved into the outbox by the Service Layer. To avoid the above mentioned case, you have to check the following: - You have to enter a valid domain in the DvISE Administrator at »Configuration -> System -> Domain«.
- If you use a switched line, a post box has to be adjusted in the Grabbing Server at »Data Bases«, which also picks up mails for this domain.
- All users, you have adjusted in the DvISE Administrator, including administrators, should dispose of a valid eMail address.
- Within the user data at »Configuration -> User« you can enter a valid SMS number or alternatively for example the telephone number of the company office.
If you now send an SMS from the Tobit Info Center, and you have effected all adjustments, the confirmation will be received during the next interval of the Grabbing Server, and the SMS gets displayed in the outbox. Please notice, that you did not disposit any data in the post box of the DvISE Grabbing Server underneath of the destination address, which does not have the same eMail address as the receiver. - 2. Possibility
When the SMS will not be sended, but gets frozen with the status "in process" in the mail order, you have to make sure, that the provider accepts the sending identification »0170123456@firma.de«. Here you will receive the problem report "Wrong receivername" in the PostMan monitor. If your provider does not accept this sender, please contact your provider. If the provider cannot ensure that, enter a valid address at »Configuration -> User -> [user] -> User Data -> SMS. - 3. Possibility
During sending via SMS Prepaid Package additional information will be written into the Header to take over different commands. These commands will be taken out of the header by a Firewall , because they do not correspond with the RFC conventions. To use the SMS prepaid system, you need to let these commands pass the firewall. Therefore you define, that all commands, which start with "X-FaxHub" or with "X-SMSHub" remain in the header of an eMail. Also the confirmation whether a fax has been sended, these commands will be written into the header to identify the SMS in the mail order and to deliver the status notice back. Therefore also the POP3 provider(where the messages will be received from) needs to pass on this information. - 4. Possibility
Your provider uses a DvISE-Server. In this case the commands will already be read out at your provider and return information will not be forwarded to you. In this case it is necessary to setup an external POP3 postbox and use it as sender. A reply of the sending confirmation from a DvISE Server as provider is not possible at present.
