Antwort
Possible reasons for that:
  • Shut Down During Verification
During shut down the data adjustment (e.g. ArcServe) has effected a Verify. In this case you should appoint the data adjustment of the archives to another time (here the parameter is DELETETIME in the file »DAVID\CODE\DAVID.INI«).

  • Damage Of the Spooler
The spooler is damaged, if the DvISE Service Layer stands still at usage of the automatic printout. In that case you can deactivate the spooler adjustments within the features of the printer and change over to "lead printing order directly to printer".

  • Damage Of a Temporary File
A temporary file has been damaged. In that case you should delete/move or rename the following entries:

    1. »DAVID\CODE\DAVID.JOB«
    2. »DAVID\CODE\DAVID.PRN«
    3. »DAVID\CODE\DAVID.LOG«
    4. »DAVID\CODE\DAVID.REC«
    5. »DAVID\CODE\TEMP\*.*«
    6. »DAVID\APPS\FAXWARE\OUT\API\*.*«
    7. »DAVID\IMPORT\*.*«
    8. »DAVID\IMPORT\SYSTEM\*.*«
    9. »DAVID\IMPORT\SYSTEM\OBJECTS\*.*«

    10. A special case is the directory »DAVID\TLD\PORT\EXTRA« ex version 6.5.
This is where the PostMan temporarily stores the received data..

      Do not delete the files

      • POSTMAN.STA«br>
      • POSTMAN.JOB
      • TLD.CFG
      • TLD.CHK
      in any case!
