Follow these steps to influence the autoupdate effect of the Tobit InfoCenters:
  1. Open the Windows tool Regedit and go to the key »HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/TOBIT/TOBIT INFOCENTER/SETTINGS«.
  2. You will find a parameter »Autoupdate« which can adopt the values 0, 1, 2.
    • »Autoupdate = 0« means, that the autoupdate is active and that the Tobit InfoCenter is updated if there are new files on the DvISE server.
    • »Autoupdate = 1« means, that it is asked if the client should be updated before each update.
    • Setting the value »Autoupdate = 2« deactivates the autoupdate.
In order to influence the autoupdate function, open the local TOBIT.INI on the worksation concerned. Make the settings for the entry »autoupdate = x« corresponding to one of the values mentioned above.
The entry has to be done in the section [DVWIN].

Put a semicolon in front of the entry »SetupPath=drive\David\Clients«.
