Microsoft Word is the most common application for creating serial faxes on Windows. In order to create a serial fax from Windows, please read the detailed information in the Tobit InfoCenter User Guide. Serial faxes from DOS, Queue-Service or FileScan-Service
To send serial faxes from DOS applications you may use the DvISE command @@NUMBER. Behind that, you enter the corresponding fax number for each serial fax (e.g. as an automatic import from a database). Please note, that the single faxes have to be separated from each other. Otherwise, the command @@NUMBER will be found again and again and the complete fax job is only sent to the last fax number passed. In order to separate the jobs use the command @@ENDOFJOB at the end of each serial fax document. As DvISE recognizes this command, the following page is considered a new job with a new destination number. Please find an example of a serial fax below: @@NUMBER «data_field1_faxnumber»@@
