Problem How does the Tobit InfoCenter get installed properly on a terminal server?

Mostly it is no problem to install the Tobit InfoCenter XP on a terminal server, but when you print with the FaxImage printer driver within a desktop session, the window for the number entry will be opened on the terminal server. In this case act as follows:
  1. Delete the following files:
    • Printer Tobit Fax Image, FaxWare and Fax Image Messaging -> delete
    • Printer Driver Tobit Fax Image, FaxWare and Fax Image Messaging -> delete
    • Port Fax Image Archive, FaxWare and Fax Image Messaging -> delete
    • »\PROGRAMMEs\TOBIT INFOCENTER« -> delete
    • »TOBIT*.*« -> delete
    • FAXIMG.DLL -> delete
    • FAXIMG.DRV -> delete
    • FAXIMGMO.DLL -> delete
    • DVMAILER.EXE -> delete
    • TOBIT.INI -> delete
    • DV4TS.EXE -> delete

  2. Delete the following entries out of the registry manually if available:
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Applications/DVATT.EXE
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Applications/DVEXTINF.EXE
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Applications/DVWIN32.EXE
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Applications/TobitFaxFile
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/Applications/TobitInfoCenter*
      (the particular entries underneath of applications)
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Tobit
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/
      Applications/DVATT.EXE
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/
      Applications/DVEXTINF.EXE
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/
      Applications/DVWIN32.EXE
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/
      Applications/TobitFaxFile
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/
      Applications/TobitInfoCenter*
      (the particular entries underneath of applications)
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Clients/Mail/Tobit InfoCenter
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/
      CurrentVersion/App Managment/ARPCache/Tobit InfoCenter
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/
      CurrentVersion/Uninstall/Tobit InfoCenter
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/
      CurrentVersion/Terminal Server/Install/Software/Tobit
    • HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT/Software/Tobit

  3. Now restart the server.
  4. As the case may be you should map the system drive as drive C:, if the drive letters changed during a citrix installation. But this is not urgently required.
  5. Enter »change user /install« into the prompt.
  6. Execute the Tobit InfoCenter setup from a mapped drive.
  7. Enter »change user /execute« into the prompt.
  8. Restart the server.
If you have mapped the system drive as drive C:, you can now remove this drive mapping again.
