The InfoCenter Pocket Sync enables the data synchronization between a David installation and Pocket PCs which run on Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 5 or from David.zehn! with the Feature Pack 04-Jun-2007 on Windows Mobile 6 (Professional and Classic version).

The installation of the InfoPocket Sync requires a workstation on which, besides the David.InfoCenter, a current version of Microsoft Active Sync (version 3.7 up to 4.5) is installed. Execute the download file (POCKETSYNC.EXE) on this computer to start the installation process. Then enter your license number into the appropriate entry field.

Important note
Since the license number is verified online it is necessary that the computer on which the installation is processed is connected to the Internet and that a connection (HTTP request) via the TCP Port 80 to the server »*.tobit.net« can be established. To ensure an error-free installation and to ensure the verification of the license number this port must not be blocked by protection mechanism like, for example, a Firewall.

Afterwards the installation program directs you through the installation process. After the installation is completed two new entries are found in the David.InfoCenter under the main menu item »Tools« which you can use to open the InfoCenter Pocket Sync configuration or to directly start the synchronization.

This product can exclusively be used with David V8/V8+ or higher. The installation and use of the "David.InfoCenter Pocket Sync" requires a license number which can be purchased separately. An Internet connection must be established during the installation.
