SMS Provider Interface

Frage
Problem David provides an integrated SMS-provider-interface, which enables the inexpensivesending of SMS messages without the need for additional hardware or existingmobile phone contracts. By using this interface, SMS jobs are sent as eMail to aprovider via the SMTP Services of David. The provider will then ensure the finalsending via the GSM network. In this case, there is no difference between thecreation of an SMS job and the usual procedure.

Using the SMS-provider-interface offers several advantages. There are no costsincurred for the otherwise required additional GSM Hardware (modem or mobilephone) and its maintenance as well as for the monthly basic fees for mobile phonecontracts. The only costs incurred are the sending costs for each individual messagesent. These costs are invoiced via the customer account in the Club Tobit Software.

Note:
It is not possible to receive SMS messages via the SMS-provider-interface. Billing occurs via Tobit.NET the customer forum of Tobit.Software. Further information for billing and a view of your personal account can be found in Tobit.NET at www.tobit.net.
