| Problem | By using the »Extended Telephony Module« DvISE also offers the use of CTI services.CTI is short for »Computer Telephony Integration« and describes the interface between computer and telephone on the base of existing standards like TAPI. Thereby, DvISE does not replace the telephone system or the telephone itself, but uses one or more installed ISDN boards in the DvISE server as a switching centre. Normally the server is directly connected to the telephone system. Already existing telephones can still be used.The use of the Telephony Services is only possible with the »Extended Telephony Module« which is optional availible. |
